MAY 3RD: FLOWER WALL HANGING

Fran and Faye invite young ceramicists, ages 5 to 11, to come and create objects with a seasonal twist. The children will learn various making and decorating techniques. The finished pieces will be fired by the tutors and ready for collection within 3 to 4 weeks.

Sample Session Schedule:

• Drawing, talking about scraffito and mark-making techniques, showing examples 

• Hand building

• Cutting out shapes, stenciling

• Snack break and visit the chickens and bunnies

• Decorating, mark-making and signing

• Show and tell

• Tidy and cleaning
